Thoughts of Bonnaroo X and LCD Soundsystem

Sitting here putting together the show for tomorrow, and thinking about Bonnaroo. The initial lineup is out. You can scope it here. There really is a lot to like at first blush (Arcade Fire, Black Keys, Decemberists, Strokes, Mumford & Sons, Girl Talk, Iron & Wine, Sleigh Bells, School of Seven Bells, Ratatat, Bassnectar, The Black Angels, Dr. John and The Meters (!), and Bootsy , Baby! Can't suss the eminem thing though.

Maybe it's the Founder's Breakfast Stout thinking, but the more I see this under card, the more I can't figure how I can see everyone I want to see.

Anyway, got me thinking about last year and some of the killer sets. One of my favs was LCD Soundsystem who are are the verge of calling it a day. Sad that, but folks here in the lovely northeast get a bunch o' chances to catch them one last time.

Originally one night at the Garden and they were done, but seems James Murphy is peeved at the quick sell-out of the show. A bunch of shows will be added at Terminal 5 before the Garden gig. Check the LCD Soundsystem site for more info. Don't miss this. See you there!
